Salve Regina’s Class of 2018 Twitter Scavenger Hunt

The Class of 2018 is invited to participate in a campus-wide Twitter scavenger hunt on Friday, Sept. 12 from 3:00 – 4:30 pm, followed by a BBQ on the Pell Center’s front lawn off Bellevue Avenue starting at 5:00 pm.

With a small group of classmates, first-year students will find clues hidden around campus, tweet some pictures and learn new things about what’s happening at Salve Regina.

‘Selfies’ for Salve Dollars

Tweets and pictures could earn the winning team $20.00 Seahawks bucks for each team member. Student leaders will be awarding the grand-prize winners and superlatives based on their creativity, enthusiasm, and school spirit.

The superlatives are as follows:

  • Best group pose
  • Best tree selfie
  • Best scenic Cliff Walk photo
  • Best Seahawk selfie
  • Best hashtag
  • #LOL (the most well-humored tweet)

In order to participate, each team must register by Friday, September 5 at 4:00 PM by emailing [email protected]. The following information must be included in registration:

  • Team name
  • Names of team members (2-6 students)
  • Twitter account to be used during scavenger hunt

All  students, regardless of whether or not they choose to participate in the scavenger hunt, are welcome to attend the BBQ.

In order to attend the BBQ, students must register by Friday, September 5 at 4:00 PM by emailing [email protected].

The Pell Center Twitter Scavenger Hunt is made possible by collaborating with the Center for Student Development, Office of International Programs, Office of Multicultural Programs, Office of Career Development, Office of Safety and Security, and McKillop Library.
